Your notes are personal. The Notes app is designed to keep your content under your control, with optional private iCloud sync.

2. Data stored by the app

Notes stores the content you create—such as notes, to-do lists, tables, settings, window positions and selected images—locally on your Mac. If you enable iCloud sync, this content is also stored in your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit account so it can stay in sync across your devices. MuseandMethodDesign does not operate a separate account system and does not receive or have access to your note content.

3. Photos and files

The app accesses only the photos or files that you actively select. They are used solely to display content inside your notes and image widgets. When iCloud sync is enabled, selected images can be stored in your private iCloud container as part of the synced note. They are not uploaded to MuseandMethodDesign.

4. Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. MuseandMethodDesign does not receive your payment details. Apple may process purchase and transaction information according to Apple's own privacy policy.

5. Tracking and advertising

The app does not contain third-party advertising, analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. No account is required to use the app.

6. Deleting your data

You can delete individual notes inside the app. You can remove the app and its locally stored data through macOS. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletions are synchronized through iCloud. You can also manage your iCloud account and stored app data through Apple's system settings. For questions about deletion or privacy, contact the email address above.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The current version and its update date will always be published on this page.

2. In der App gespeicherte Daten

Notes speichert die von dir erstellten Inhalte – beispielsweise Notizen, To-do-Listen, Tabellen, Einstellungen, Fensterpositionen und ausgewählte Bilder – lokal auf deinem Mac. Wenn du die iCloud-Synchronisierung aktivierst, werden diese Inhalte zusätzlich in deinem privaten Apple-iCloud-/CloudKit-Account gespeichert und zwischen deinen Geräten synchronisiert. MuseandMethodDesign betreibt kein eigenes Kontosystem und erhält keinen Zugriff auf deine Notizinhalte.

3. Fotos und Dateien

Die App greift ausschließlich auf Fotos oder Dateien zu, die du selbst auswählst. Sie werden nur zur Darstellung in deinen Notizen und Bild-Widgets verwendet. Bei aktivierter iCloud-Synchronisierung können ausgewählte Bilder als Bestandteil einer Notiz in deinem privaten iCloud-Container gespeichert werden. Sie werden nicht an MuseandMethodDesign hochgeladen.

4. Käufe

Optionale In-App-Käufe werden durch Apple über den App Store und StoreKit abgewickelt. MuseandMethodDesign erhält keine Zahlungsdaten. Apple kann Kauf- und Transaktionsinformationen gemäß der eigenen Datenschutzbestimmungen verarbeiten.

5. Tracking und Werbung

Die App enthält keine Werbung, keine Analyse-SDKs von Drittanbietern und kein appübergreifendes Tracking. Für die Nutzung ist kein Konto erforderlich.

6. Löschen deiner Daten

Einzelne Notizen können direkt in der App gelöscht werden. Die App und ihre lokal gespeicherten Daten können über macOS entfernt werden. Bei aktivierter iCloud-Synchronisierung werden Löschungen über iCloud synchronisiert. Deinen iCloud-Account und gespeicherte App-Daten kannst du außerdem über Apples Systemeinstellungen verwalten. Bei Fragen zur Löschung oder zum Datenschutz erreichst du uns über die oben genannte E-Mail-Adresse.

7. Änderungen dieser Erklärung

Diese Datenschutzerklärung kann angepasst werden, wenn sich die App oder ihre Datenverarbeitung ändert. Die aktuelle Fassung und das Datum der letzten Aktualisierung werden auf dieser Seite veröffentlicht.
